Description

The Society for Decision Making under Deep Uncertainty will be holding its 2017 annual workshop and training event at the University of Oxford, UK.

The theme of this year's workshop is 'working across multiple scales'.

  • 13 November - training day practical application of DMDU methodologies

This training session will provide guidance for those who wish to apply DMDU tools to the analytical problems they face. But just as importantly, the agenda also seeks to help people working with the output of DMDU tools, so that they might derive better understanding and value in appyling these results.

  • 14-15 November - annual workshop on dealing with deep uncertainty in decision making across multiple scales

There will be sessions for discussion of global, national and city-scale challenges, with an emphasis on practical insights. Presentations and posters will also provide an opportunity to talk about new developments in DMDU thinking and learning from practical application of DMDU approaches.

You can register for the whole event, or for individual days. Registering for this event covers your participation at the event, and we will provide teas, coffees and lunches. You will need to make your own travel and accomodation arrangements.
